Afonso Real Estate

My husband and I actually did a fairly extensive search to find the right fit for us for a realtor, we are very lively people and we needed someone who was able to have a sense of humor and be laid back yet maintain professional demeanor when needed with out that  “used car salesman” feel.   We found Jason at an open house and although he was well aware that the house being shown was surely out of our price range he still remained interested in being personable.  We contacted him in late April and let him know what a great impression he made with us and asked him if he would be available to show us some properties that we were interested.  He immediately started going to work battling through every confusing, exciting, emotional step of purchasing our first home. He was so supportive and knowledgeable about every up and down.  One particular time we were on our way to a house showing appointment and got into a car accident and instead of rescheduling like others would, he came to the scene of the accident and picked us up and brought us to every house showing we had that day and then brought us home!   He is an impressively great judge of character as well which I never realized until purchasing a home how important that is.  He had all the right advice when it came to how to deal with everyone from the sellers agents to the mortgage brokers.   Jason truly understands the market conditions and is up to date on every new trend or program in real estate and we are confident in saying that we have found “our real estate guy” for every future home purchase and every friend in need of a good recommendation because he truly does step up to the plate for every one of his clients while making you feel like you’re the only one.

My wife and I first met Jason back in November when we were searching for a home to purchase for my mother. She was downsizing from her home of thirty years in Newton and moving to this area to be closer to other family members. My sister who lives in the area recommended that we use Jason. We found that Jason was able to empathize with my mothers situation and went out of his way to make the showings and negotiations effortless, making what was a significant life changing event for my mother a little easier for her to navigate.

When my wife and I decided to purchase a home shortly after, we did not hesitate to contact Jason. Again, we really could not have been more pleased with his representation. He was informative and demonstrated a strong understanding of the market and market values in this area. He was accommodating to our difficult schedules, often arranging for showings late at night and on weekends. His experience was evident during showings as he consistently pointed out both positive and negative aspects of each home that had escaped both my wife and I, allowing us to better evaluate each home. We were impressed with Jason's communication skills. He was in constant contact with us, notifying us of new homes to the market and eventually, the status of our offer. Ultimately, Jason' s negotiation skills helped us secure a home that offered us all that we had been looking for.

Not unlike most stories you have heard about home purchases, ours had its share of aggravations. The home we purchased was bank owned which presented additional complications. However, throughout the entire process, Jason consistently exceeded his responsibilities. And when I say that, I am reminded of one specific situation that best demonstrates Jason's professionalism and commitment to his clients. We were about a week out from our closing, just before the July 4th holiday. Jason had not heard from the sellers agent concerning the Title V inspection. Rather than assume that the inspection had been completed, Jason pursued the sellers agent to confirm and ultimately learned that the inspection had not been requested. Jason spent that afternoon, just prior to the holiday, tracking down a company that could inspect the septic system (which was the responsibility of the sellers agent). The inspection revealed damage to the septic system that had to be repaired prior to it passing inspection. The work was not able to be done until after the holiday which meant we would miss our scheduled closing date. Instead of waiting until after the holiday to address this situation, Jason took it upon himself to obtain an estimate for the repair of the septic and negotiated with the sellers agent to have the seller pay for the repairs. In addition, Jason contacted our mortgage broker and closing attorney, notified them of the delay, and had them secure an extension on the interest rate lock and reschedule the closing date.

We have been in our home just over a month now and really could not be happier with the house. I can say that, had Jason not been representing us in this transaction, we may not have secured the home. We are grateful for Jason's hard work and are happy to have this opportunity to write on his behalf.

Jason was extremely helpful with every process of my home buying transaction. He's also extremely knowledgeable in real estate field, which made my home buying experience less stressful.  I could count on Jason to answer all my questions I had or issue as it was my first time purchasing property - and he always gave me the time to explain anything I didn't fully understand.  Jason was flexible, thoughtful, and he's there every step of the way...he even sent his brother over after closing to fix an electrical problem!

I came to Jason Tominsky of Realty Executives by accident. I was looking for another realtor and Jason took the time to help me try to find them. I thanked him and said goodbye, but I called him back. He had been so helpful with nothing to gain. We talked for a few minutes about a house I was interested in looking at in Bellingham. I had some unique circumstances, because of the house I was selling. Jason took all things under consideration and was the first realtor that was encouraging that we could get things done. Jason even took the time to call my husband who was in Europe to explain the houses in detail. I knew Jason was always looking out for my best interest. We now have a beautiful home in Franklin and my whole family is under one roof once again. Thanks Jason for an outstanding job!

We have used Jason for 5 real estate transactions within the past 3 years. Jason has provided excellent service and has always responded quickly to our questions and needs. A couple of our transactions were very stressful, but with Jason´s comforting charisma it helped everything run smoother. Jason is very knowledgeable about the business. He always provided the extra insight we didn´t know, or gave us that tiny suggestion to help sell our home quicker. We were very lucky to receive Jason´s service and would definitely use him in the future if the need arises. Thanks, Mike and Kerrie

Our experience working with Jason during the summer of 2005 proved that he is a true professional. He studies key trends and understands the market conditions very well. He also communicates very effectively as a liaison between buyer and seller. We were under considerable urgency to sell our home and relocate, and Jason was able to come through for us. Plain and simple, he is a deal maker and comes highly recommended as a partner in selling or buying any home.
